PURPOSE: To print quickly and easily a microfilm and execute easily maintenance of a microfilm reader and printing device, by providing two developing means which positive-develop a positive and negative film in an upper unit and using the two developing means by switching.
CONSTITUTION: An enlarged image of a microfilm is projected upon a screen, but the light is introduced to a photosensitive body 107 and a latent image is formed by inserting a mirror into the optical path. A developing device 110 is equipped with two developers, of which the 1st developer 1321 makes positive→positive development and the 2nd developer 1322 makes negative→positive development. The developers 1321 and 1322 are operated through bush buttons by switching. An upper unit 101A, in which the photosensitive body 107, developing device 110. etc., are provided, is rotated around a supporting shaft 103A and can be opened and closed along a paper carrying path 117 so as to remove blocking paper or execute maintenance easily. Therefore, printing of a positive and negative microfilms can be execute quickly and easily and, at the same time, maintenance can be execute easily.
