The microorganism number measuring device includes: a container 6 inserted from an upper opening of a sampling part 21 provided at a lower end of a cylinder shaped carrier 19 for a specimen sampling; a measuring space 7 and a liquid housing space 8 successively provided from a bottom to an upper portion of the container 6; a stirring body 26 provided on a bottom of the measuring space 7; measuring electrodes 16 and 17 provided on the stirring body 26 of the measuring space 7; a motor 25 which is provided the outside of the container 6 of the measuring space 7 and drives the stirring body 26; pure water 11 filled in the liquid housing space 7; and a through-hole 21A provided at the upper portion of the container 6 for movably and freely supporting the circumference of the cylinder shaped carrier 19 for a specimen sampling.
