Title:
MICROPROCESSOR-BASED PRESS DAMPENING SPEED CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0259345
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform printing quality for a width of a web by providing a memory means for storing speed curve data used for controlling a nozzle operation, and an interface circuit means for turning ON all nozzles at a pulse speed designated in response to a pulse speed signal connected to the nozzle.

CONSTITUTION: A ROM 44 stores a 'firmware', operates a microprocessor 42 to execute a function of drink processors 35A to 35D. Read/write random memory(RAM) 50 stores the functions. A solenoid valve 31 is turned ON in a short period each time one pulse is generated at 1-bit outputs of programmable interface controllers(PIC) 70, 72. A speed of pulse driving ON a spray bar assembly 26 is according to a control of a program for executing by the microprocessor 42, and a length of the spray pulse from each nozzle 30 of the assembly 26 can be individually controlled.
