Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately observe the state of the sample corresponding to its weight by display or recording the image of the sample obtained through the optical system of a microscope and the weight value of the sample which is measured by a weight measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION:When a pan is moving down by the weight of the sample, an electronic balance 4 generates the electromagnetic force for compensating its downward movement to hold the pan at a constant position at all times and sends out an output signal having a current value corresponding to the weight of the sample. A personal computer 7 stores its internal memory with the signal of a stereoscopic image sent from a control part 6 and a weight signal sent from the electronic balance 4 and also displays the stereoscopic image and the weight value of the sample on a television monitor 9, and those images and weight value are recorded on a photographing device 109 and a VTR 11. Consequently, the time deviation between the observation of the state of the sample and the weight measurement of the sample is eliminated and the weight of the sample at the time of the observation of the state can accurately be measured.
