PURPOSE: To improve productivity through simplification of joint structure, to improve joint quality, and to improve work executing ability through shortening of a fusion time of a joint by a method wherein a heat generating material incorporated in the fit-in part of a pipe joint forms a conducive high molecule.
CONSTITUTION: In a microwave fusion joint 10 wherein the fit-in part 14 of a pipe joint 13 and the resin layer of a member 15 to be connected are fused together, a heat generating material incorporated in the fit-in part 14 of the pipe joint 13 forms a conductive high molecule. Since this method is a planar heat generation system using no electric wire, heat generation distribution of the fit-in part 14 is uniform and the occurrence of a remaining strain is reduced. Further, since a wide area is simultaneously heated, heating efficiency is improved, and the efficiency of work execution is improved.
