Title:
MICROWAVE HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57124771
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To exert heat from a microstrip itself, to extend the life of the microstrip line and to utilize the heat, by installing a heat sink with the microstrip line.

CONSTITUTION: In heating a copy paper 11 to be heated for toner fixing with a microstrip line 1, the heat dissipated from the microstrip line 1 itself is exerted externally and the life is extended. A heat sink 12 is fixed to the lower surface of a ground plate 3 of the microstrip line 1 consisting of a dielectric base 2, center conductor 6 and ground plate 3, and a part of it is extended toward the upper stream and a preheat stand 12' is formed. The heat generated at the base 2 is radiated and cooled at the heat sink 12, and a moving heated objective 11 is first preheated at the preheat stand 12' and then heated at the microstrip line 1.
