Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance working efficiency by suddenly raising the temp. of an article to be heated without exerting adverse effect on the quality thereof.
CONSTITUTION: In a microwave heating apparatus 10, two microwave oscillators 20, 22 are arranged to a housing 11 having predetermined space vol. and the irradiation ports 21a, 23a of the waveguides 21,23 of the oscillators are arranged at symmetric positions in opposed relationship in parallel to the feed direction of the roller conveyor 14 feeding an article W to be heated in the housing 11. A lattice member 30 composed of a lattice like conductor are arranged almost vertically to the feed direction of the conveyor so as to divide the space vol. into two space vols. respectively including the irradiation ports 21a, 23a arranged in the housing 11. Since the energy raising the temp. of article to be heated becomes easy to control uniformly in-the respective space vols. of the housing 11, even if the output of microwaves is suddenly raised, local heating becomes hard to generate and working efficiency can be enhanced.
