To provide a microwave heating device in which heating means does not interfere with a constitution for microwave irradiation, and capable of preventing loss of microwave in an induction heating operation, improving efficiency in induction heating, and performing such heating that eating texture and flavor are given to both surfaces of a food material by baking the surfaces brown and slightly burnt.
A microwave heating device includes: a first power supply port 19 and a second power supply port 28, disposed in a heating chamber 15, for applying the microwave from upper and lower sides thereof; and a first grill pan 34 and a second grill pan 35 composed of metallic plates occupying the approximately whole area of a plain surface of the heating chamber. The first grill pan 34 and the second grill pan 35 are provided with heating-element heating means 36 composed of a microwave heating elements on respective one sides thereof, and disposed facing the upper and lower power supply ports, respectively. As food 14 can be thereby heated while held between the first grill pan 34 and the second grill pan 35 having the heating-element heating means 36 heated to a high temperature by the microwave, both surfaces of the object to be heated can be baked brown and slightly burnt.
