To provide a microwave oscillation device which has simple and compact constitution and can be constituted as a portable type.
The current from a capacitor group 10 generating a DC voltage is supplied to an inductor 20 via a switch 11, and a high-voltage pulse which has a steep rise is generated by the combination of an inductive power source 80 which uses the inductor 20 and a disconnecting switch, and a short-circuiting switch 40 which operates at high speed and then applied to directly drive a virtual cathode electron tube 50. Namely, the microwave oscillation device 200 is attained with the simple and compact constitution comprising the combination of the inductive power source 80 by the inductor 20 and disconnecting switch 30, and the short-circuiting switch 40.
