PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a trouble that is possibly caused at the time of detaching a magnetic card reader from the body of a microwave oven, by disposing an electronic circuit unit at a place away from the magnetic card reader.
CONSTITUTION: In a micro-computor controlled microwave oven with a magnetic card reader, an electronic circuit unit (not shown) is provided separately from a magnetic card reader 11 and disposed, for instance, at a place near the micro- computor in the oven body. With such an arrangement, when the reader 11 is turned, only the lead wire of a reproducing head 4 is connected to fixed parts of the apparatus, so that the reader 11 is not prevented from turning. Further, it is enabled to simplify the structure of the oven and to prevent occurrence of a trouble that is possibly caused at the time of detaching the reader 11 from the oven body.
