This mill 1 for wood chips is composed of a conical lower mill 2 engaged with a rotating operation part, an upper mill 3 which is so set as to cover the lower mill 2 at a gap gradually narrowed from the upper part to the lower part and has a recessed milling face on the opposite to a projected milling face of the lower mill 2 and an opening of the upper end part in the recessed mill face, a hopper 5 as a throwing part for an object to be milled such as wood chips, or the like, which is fixed in the opening part 4 of the upper mill 3, and a storage part 7 so installed along the circumference of the lower end of the lower mill 2 as to receive the milled matter discharged through a gap between the respective lower ends of the upper mill 3 and the lower mill 2 and to allow the milled product to be taken out. While being passage through a gap between the projected milling face 2a and the recessed milling face, wood chips can easily be milled to produce the milled product.
