PURPOSE: To provide a mimeograph which can be started easily even after being allowed to stand for a long period of time and obtain a printed matter with high image density even in high speed printing.

CONSTITUTION: A mimeograph is equipped with a steel drum part 1 formed in a cylindrical shape, a pair of flanges 12 which are respectively engaged with both ends of the drum part 1, etc., a printing drum 20 which is installed between the pair of flanges 12, etc., and equipped with a master holding means 40 for holding the end of a master for a mimeograph, and an ink supply means 30 for supplying ink to the inner surface of the printing drum 20. The first energizing means for energizing both flanges 12, etc., in the direction to separate each other in the axial direction and the second energizing means for energizing both circumferential ends of the drum part 1 in the direction to clamp flanges, etc., are installed to stretch the drum part 1 axially and circumferentially by both energizing means.
