Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mimeographic plate-making printer designed to prevent ink effusing onto the shaft of a master discharge roll from leaking and dropping or splashing near the printer.
CONSTITUTION: In a memeographic plate-making printer 600 having a print drum 5, an ink feeder 60, a plate feeding roll supporting means 202 to support a plate feeding roll 2, a thermal head 4, a plate discharge roll supporting means to support a plate discharge roll 10 to take up a used master 1b from the print drum around which the other end of the master 1 is wrapped, a plate feeding unit 170 which is rotatable around the same axis as the central axis of rotation 6 and has a plate feeding roll 202, a plate discharge unit 180 which is rotatable in relation to the print drum 5 and the plate feed unit 170, an ink absorbing flange 110 is applied to the both ends of a portion of the shaft of the plate discharge roll 10 which takes up a used master 1b.
