Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-term reliable mirror in which: a light propagation process is shortened compared to a conventional system due to that a reflective layer is formed on a substrate surface regarded as an incident light side, and double reflection is hardly caused; its surface is hardly damaged even under a severe condition due to its sufficiently hard surface layer; and a peeling is hardly caused even between an edge part of a coating layer and a substrate.SOLUTION: A mirror includes: a substrate for forming a mirror; an inner layer including a reflection layer laminated on a light-incident surface side on the substrate; and an outermost layer that is a first ceramic layer laminated so as to cover the inner layer on the light-incident surface side on the substrate. The first ceramic layer is made of a carbide-based ceramic or a nitride-based ceramic. The inner layer is formed toward the outside of an edge of the substrate with respect to the incident surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
