Abstract:
To provide mist and vapor eliminating filters, devices, methods of filtering aircraft air using the devices, and systems including the devices.SOLUTION: A mist and vapor eliminating system includes a mist and vapor eliminating (MaVE) filter device and a bypass valve. The bypass valve includes a turnable bypass plate which is arranged in a hollow sleeve arranged between a main housing body and an outlet duct. When the bypass valve is opened, the hollow sleeve provides an aircraft air channel which passes through the MaVE filter device that partially bypasses a MaVE filter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
