The misty hair cosmetic comprises (a) 0.05-10% of a high molecular compound for hair setting, (b) a polyhydric alcohol, (c) 20-75% of a monovalent alcohol and (d) 25-80% of a propellant, wherein (b)/(a)=0.1-5.
