PURPOSE: To obtain the subject foods with beautiful patterns by placing biscuits having patterns or characters on a hot iron plate coated with oil so that the pattern face comes to the plate surface, pouring the dough mix for wheat flour baked foods thereon and baking them.

CONSTITUTION: Before baking, formed pieces of dough are printed with a pattern such as characters or drawings of a ink mixture from food oil and food pigments, respectively. Then, they are placed on a heated iron plate so that their patterned surfaces contact with the iron plate. Further, a dough mix containing wheat flour, baking powder, sugar, flavors is poured on them and baked. When needed, the back surface is also baked to give the objective baked wheat-flour foods having colorful patterns, a combination of a baked wheat-flour food from a mix containing wheat flour, a baking powder and the like with a biscuit having a drawing or character pattern without pattern deformation or cracks.
