To provide a mixer for allowing a user to knead dough for food even at home with a simple structure by a simple operation.

In the mixer 1, a kneading tool 7 includes: a blade 10 for kneading dough S in a vessel 3; and a handle 17 which is connected to the rotary shaft 9 of the blade 10, is arranged at the outer part of a lid 5, and rotates the blade 10 along the inner peripheral surface of the vessel. The blade 10 includes: a board 11 which is attached to the rotary shaft 9 of the blade 10 and whose surface is arranged so as to be substantially vertical with respect to the diameter direction of an in-vessel space; side boards 13 arranged at side edges of the board 11, so as to be substantially perpendicular to the board; and return parts 15 to be extended in the diameter direction of the in-vessel space at the lower end of each side board 13 and inclined upward. The side boards 13 are inclined to allow the upper parts to be in an upper part in a rotary direction when the blade 10 is rotated. A gap 23 is formed between the lower ends of the side boards and the bottom surface of the vessel, and gaps 25 are formed between the ends of the return parts at the side of the inner peripheral surface of the vessel and the inner peripheral surface of the vessel.
