Abstract:
To provide a method for selecting a composition of medium-fluidity concrete that satisfies either or both of gap passage property and material separation resistance in addition to self-filling property.SOLUTION: When selecting the composition of medium-fluidity concrete, in a state of fresh concrete, vibration is input to the sample medium-fluidity concrete in only one direction. Under the vibration, the composition is selected based on the relationship between vibration energy (Ef) related to fluidity required for slump flow to reach 600 mm using a slump flow tester, and either or both of vibration energy (Eu) related to filling property required for U-shaped filling height to reach 350 mm using a U-shaped filling tester and vibration energy (Es) related to separation resistance when the residual ratio of coarse aggregate is 70% in the separation resistance test.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
