PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of a stabilizing composition for protection of body-care and household products against deleterious effects of light, heat and oxygen.SOLUTION: The stabilizing composition comprises (a) an effective stabilizing amount of at least one merocyanine derivative having an absorption maximum of 350-400 nm, and (b) at least one UV filter selected from benzotriazole derivatives; optionally (c) at least one excited state quencher; and optionally (d) at least one salicylate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
