Abstract:
PURPOSE: To economize wide area mobile communication which dispense with the provision of many ground base stations even in a mountainous area.
CONSTITUTION: In the mobile communication equipment, when a ground station control channel level from each of ground base stations does not reach a communication enable level or no idle speech channel is available, while a radio frequency of a receiver 40 and a transmitter 30 is set for a space satellite base station under the control of a microcomputer 90 for the communication via the space satellite base station, radio communication is attained with the base station 3 by the idle speech channel designated by the base station 3.
