Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system, a service provision method and a mobile station in which an additional service is served to users of each mobile station such as a portable telephone set at a rational cost.
SOLUTION: In the case that a user purchasing a portable telephone set 12 desires to receive a prescribed additional service, the user makes a phone call to a server 16. When a channel is connected to the server 16, the server 16 sends a guidance message to accept a request by the user interactively. The user uses the portable telephone set 12 to enter a specific code requesting down-loading of an application software (hereinafter called AS) and a service code designating a desired additional service with key entry. Thus, down-loading of the AS is conducted according to a prescribed sequence. Thus, the portable telephone set 12 executes the AS newly down-loaded to allow the user to receive the new additional service.
