Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal, in which the directivity of an array antenna composed of a plurality of antenna elements can be stably controlled when performing radio communication by receiving the radio signal of a CDMA system while using the array antenna.
SOLUTION: In the mobile communication terminal provided with the array antenna composed of antenna elements 1-1 to 1-N for performing radio communication by receiving the radio signal of the CDMA system including a pilot signal while using the array antenna, this terminal is provided with a direction vector detecting part 4 for extracting the pilot signal for each of antenna elements 1-1 to 1-N by executing despreading processing on received signals x1-xN of the respective antenna elements 1-1 to 1-N by a prescribed despreading code, and on the assumption that a direction vector composed of the extracted pilot signal presents the arriving direction of the radio signal, weighing is executed for forming the directivity pattern of the array antenna composed of the antenna elements 1-1 to 1-N on the basis of this direction vector.
