Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily assign a dynamic address for managing a mobile object such as a vehicle leaving and entering a fixed area such as a parking lot.
SOLUTION: When the entrance of the vehicle 1 to the parking lot is detected, the server of a management controller 16 obtains the ID of its onboard machine 10 via an entering antenna 14a and a communication controller 30, then selects an IP address, which is not used presently, from an IP address managing table 16a, makes a pair of it and the obtained ID to create an IP address setting request and transmits it The machine 10 receiving this and an onboard PC 28 set the IP address of the pair to itself when matched with its own ID. When the vehicle leaves the parking lot, the server detects the ID of the vehicle by a leaving antenna 14b and outputs an IP address releasing instruction to the machine 10, which releases the set IP address.
