Abstract:

To provide a mobile object searching device capable of quickly searching a mobile object, and a mobile object searching method.

A search cooperator information extraction part 45 extracts information regarding a search cooperator near the position of a PHS terminal 30 and the information regarding the reporting destination of the search cooperator on the basis of the position information of the PHS terminal 30 detected in a PHS terminal position information detection part 43 and the information regarding the position of the search cooperator stored in a search cooperator information storage part 49 and sends them out to an information transmission part 53. A mobile object information extraction part 47 extracts the information regarding the mobile object whose search is requested and the information regarding the reporting destination of a search requesting person from a mobile object information storage part 51 and sends them out to the information transmission part 53. The information transmission part 53 transmits the position information of the PHS terminal 30, the information regarding the mobile object and the information regarding the reporting destination of the search requesting person to corresponding search cooperator side terminal equipment 20 on the basis of the information regarding the search cooperator and the information regarding the reporting destination of the search cooperator sent out from the search cooperator information extraction part 45.
