PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of deciding an existing radio zone and to make adjustment of a highly accurate transmission timing unnecessary by sequentially transmitting incoming control signals from plural radio base stations through the use of radio channels (incoming control channels) at the same frequency and permitting a mobile station to receive the signals repeatedly.
CONSTITUTION: The radio base stations 1∼3 build small radio zones 4∼6, which comprise an incoming control zone. The radio base stations 1∼3 transmits the incoming control signals S1∼S3 sequentially and repeatedly. The incoming control signal is a burst signal composed of a frame synchronizing signal F, a common control signal Pj and an individual signal (i). The incoming control signals S1∼S3 are sequentially transmitted at the timing that a radio control station 7 controls. The common control signal Pj includes the number of the mobile station to which the signals are transmitted, and the individual signals includes the numbers of the radio base stations. The mobile station 8 sequentailly receives the incoming control signals S1∼S3, and simultaneously detects a receiving level as the reliability of a received signal. Reception signals and reception levels as many as radio base stations are accumulated, and the incoming control signal whose reception level becomes maximum is selected.
