To provide a mobile terminal and a crime prevention system such that the mobile terminal can automatically inform the police, a security center, etc., that an emergency state occurs in such a case without depression of a button by a victim himself or herself.
Disclosed is the mobile terminal 1 with a crime preventing function, the mobile terminal including an operation means 11 for switching to a watch mode and a control section 12 which performs control such that when the mobile terminal is switched to the watch mode by the operation means 11, whether a predetermined emergency state occurs is monitored and when the occurrence is detected, predetermined protecting operation is carried out to the outside.
