Abstract:
To provide a portable terminal update system that maintains a session of a web browser of a portable terminal device on an in-vehicle device side.SOLUTION: In a portable terminal update system 1, an in-vehicle device 10 includes: a detection unit that detects a portable terminal device 12 of a driver; an acquisition unit that acquires transition information indicating transition from an automatic driving mode to a manual driving mode; and a transmission control unit that transmits update instruction information for updating a web browser running on the portable terminal device 12 of the driver to the portable terminal device 12 while using the acquisition of the transition information as a trigger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
