Abstract:

To provide a mobile terminal with an automatic transmission function and an anti-theft function capable of quickly and properly performing rescue activities and assistance for victims.

The terminal comprises a burglar alarm functional operation and automatic transmission functional operation switch 3 and a speech recognition switch 7. The terminal further comprises a burglar alarm function for ringing a buzzer 9 in response to on state of the switch 3 or the switch 7, a telephone function 11 and an e-mail function 12 for outgoing a telephone transmission 13 and an e-mail transmission 14 to a special party, and for storing transmission contents in a first database 10, a burglar alarm functional operation and automatic transmission functional operation switch in use symbol additional function 19 for notifying the special party of outgoing the telephone transmission after detecting the switch 3 and the switch 7 as being on state, and a second database 16 having map data for GPS (global positioning system) previously stored therein. The terminal is designed to identify the position of the damaged location based on information stored in the database 16.
