In the portable terminal provided with a communication means 101, an imaging means 109, display means 103 and 104 for displaying photographed image information, the light emission means 112 and 113 and an operation main body part 201, the imaging means 109 has a structure capable of changing the photographing direction to the operation main body part 201, and the light emission luminance from the light emission means 112 and 113 is changed in accordance with the photographing direction of the imaging means 109 to the operation main body part 201. A means 114 for detecting the photographing direction of the imaging means 109 to the operation main body part 201 is provided.
