To provide a mobile terminal in which a speaker or the like belonging to the mobile terminal is also used for crime prevention and which can immediately issue alarm sound when a user turns on a crime prevention switch for emergency with the set power source turned off.
When the set power source is in an off state, the whole ports of an input-output port 19 become high impedance and a low level by a pull-down resistor 20. A hard operation permission L signal becomes low, and namely opens an AND gate 36 to allow a hard operation. When an alarm SW 7 is turned on, an output of the AND gate 36 becomes high to open an AND gate 37, making an alarm lamp 5 flicker with the flickering f of an oscillator 34 as original oscillation. Further, both outputs of OR gates 45 and 46 become high to set a speaker driver 47 as an oscillator, which make a speaker 8 ring as alarm in a frequency in which high sound A and high sound B are switched by flickering f.
