To provide a mobile terminal capable of reducing influences to be exerted on antenna characteristics in television broadcast or radio communication, by a transmission frequency of a data signal to an electronic device such as a display section or a frequency of its higher harmonic wave.

The mobile terminal includes: an antenna 224a for transmitting/receiving a radio wave; a frequency capturing section 230 for capturing a frequency band of the radio signal to be transmitted/received by the antenna 224a; an electronic device 214 for performing signal processing of a data signal; a transmission section 254 for transmitting the data signal to the electronic device 214; a timing generating section 262 for generating timing to transmit the data signal to the electronic device 214; and a frequency adjusting section 260 for adjusting the timing generated by the timing generating section 262 so that a transmission frequency of the data signal or a frequency of its higher harmonic wave may not be included within the frequency band captured by the frequency capturing section 230.
