Abstract:

To provide a mobile type telephone set capable of utilizing an existing telephone card without damaging the characteristics of the mobile type telephone set.

This mobile type telephone set 1 is provided with a card reader 6 provided with an insertion port capable of attaching and detaching the existing telephone card 7. By both of the card reader 6 and the mobile type telephone set 1, a card recognition means for recognizing the telephone card 7 and a control means for automatically executing control required for starting communication corresponding to the detected contents of the card recognition means and changing the degree of the telephone card 7 corresponding to communication recognition are provided.
