Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a model for an artificial mamma which enables making simply at home with a strength enough to withstand a load under mailing and a light weight by building up the internal surface of a negative model of an aluminum foil and the external surface thereof with a resin of foam hardening type mold to eliminate a pressure deformation as in a molding by a cast.
CONSTITUTION: An aluminum model 1 is made up of an aluminum foil 2 with a recessed face formed following the shape of a mamma and a foamed polyurethane resin 3 outside it. The foam polyurethane resin 3 is a one liquid type handily foaming hard polyurethane foam which begins to foam immediately expanding about twice to be hardened by water the moment it is discharged and is better in adhesion to the aluminum foil 2 and in automophic property and light in weight. In a widely accepted method of making a curved surface of the mamma with the aluminum foil, the mamma is covered actually with the aluminum foil and the shape thereof is copied deforming the foil.
