A model drive drive device 150 enables the model drive 20 with its body supported by a plurality of leg parts on the partition 5 to make actions driven by the drive body 160 disposed below it with the partition 5. The model drive 20 has the plurality of leg parts each rockable longitudinally and magnets Mfl, Mfr, Mrl and Mrr are provided at respective foot end parts of the plurality of leg parts with one polarity turned onto each sole. In the drive body 160, several sets of magnet couples mfl, mfr, mrl and mrr in which a pair of magnets with different magnetic polarities from each other turned upward is arrayed in proximity longitudinally along the undersurface of the partition 5 are so arranged corresponding to the respective foot end parts of the plurality of leg parts of the model drive 20 as to reciprocate freely in a running direction. The several sets of magnet couples mfl, mfr, mrl and mrr are reciprocated longitudinally by a reciprocal drive mechanism 180 simultaneously to make magnetic forces work on the permanent magnets Mfl, Mfr, Mrl and Mrr at the respective foot end parts of the plurality of leg parts of the model drive 20, thereby causing the plurality of leg parts to oscillate.
