Abstract:
To provide a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based resin composition which appropriately lowers a crystallization rate of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based resin, and thereby has gas barrier property and biodegradability, and can improve workability, especially, drawing workability, and is excellent in thermal stability.SOLUTION: A modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based resin composition contains: a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based resin having a primary hydroxyl group structural unit on a side chain; and 0.1-500 ppm of conjugated polyene. Therein, a content of an ethylene structural unit of the modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based resin is 1-16.5 mol%, and in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) according to JIS K 7121, a melting peak observed when the resin composition is heated at 10°C/min by a method for performing fixed heat-treatment and then measuring a melting temperature has only one peak, and a half-value width of the melting peak is 10°C or higher and 17°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
