Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified fiber product and the like that can have good touch to the skin, to provide a modified fiber for constituting the modified fiber product and the like, and to provide a method for producing the modified fiber.SOLUTION: The modified fiber has a sterol ester added to a fiber. The method for producing a modified fiber comprises mixing a sterol ester into a fiber raw material and spinning. A modified yarn, a modified fabric and a modified fiber product each comprise the modified fiber, or a blended fiber of the modified fiber with other fibers or a mixed spun fiber of the modified fiber with other fibers.
