Abstract:
To provide a new modified polyolefin wax, its producing method, and its applications.
In a partially crystalline polyolefin homopolymer or copolymer wax which is free radical modified with a silane compound, and shows a melt viscosity of 10-50,000 mPa s measured at 170°C and melting heat of >10 j/g, the silane compound used for the modification contains at least one olefinically double bond and at least one alkoxy group bonded directly with silicon, and the polyolefin wax used for the modification is produced by using a metallocene catalyst.
