Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a modular plug in which a conductor is scarcely ruptured and which has high connection reliability and can be manufactured easily by pushing a terminal blade whose tip part is formed into a specified shape into a coated electric wire in a specified electric wire insertion hole of a plug housing.
CONSTITUTION: In a terminal blade 4, flat parts are formed in tip parts 5, 6 in the lower side, contact point tilting face parts 7, 8 are formed in the inside which are symmetric when observed from a side, and also sides of the parts 7, 8 between which a parallel groove part 9 is formed are made of a flat and conductive plate. The blade 4 is pushed into a coated electric wire which is inserted into a V-shaped groove-type coated electric wire insertion hole 2 or a step-having V-shaped groove-type coated electric wire insertion hole. The coating of the electric wire 10 is pierced with the tip parts 5, 6 of the blade 4 led to the lowest part of the V-shaped groove and a conductor 12 is wound and arranged by the tilting face parts 7, 8 and the groove part 9 and surely connected. The blade 4 is produced continuously at low cost by press-punching of a thin conductive plate and it can be assembled easily.
