This moisture-absorbing solid structural knitted fabric is knitted by using a polyester multifilament as a thread A constituting its surface texture and joining yarn C, and a moisture-absorbing synthetic fiber yarn such as a moisture-absorbing polyamide multifilament yarn consisting of a polyalkyleneoxide-modified material obtained by the reaction of a polyalyleneoxide with a polyol and an aliphatic diisocyanate or a mixture of the above modified material with a polyamide as a core component and a polyamide as a sheath component, as a thread B constituting its reverse texture.
