To obtain an inexpensive and highly productive moisture permeable sheet having an excellent sheet strength, in particular, an excellent tear strength, and superb moisture-permeability, high capability to prevent a low surface tension liquid such as urine from leaking, excellent texture, and further, not recurring the use of an adhesive.
This moisture-permeable sheet is composed of a microporous polyolefin moisture-permeable resin film 4a laminated to an unwoven cloth 4b. The microporous polyolefin moisture-permeable resin film 4a is obtained by processing a resin consisting of only a polyolefin resin into a film, then thermally treating this film to be drawn, and further, thermally treating the drawn film. After these steps, the moisture-permeable resin film is laminated to the unwoven cloth 4b to obtain the moisture-permeable sheet. In addition, a moisture-absorptive article using the moisture-permeable sheet is manufactured by arranging a moisture absorber between a liquid-permeable front surface material and a leak-proof rear surface material 4 which is the moisture- permeable sheet.
