To provide moisture proof paper that facilitates peeling a base paper layer and a moisture proof layer manually, and aslo facilitates recycling both base paper layer and moisture proof layer.
The moisture proof paper 1 includes the base paper layer 2 and the moisture proof layer 3 of synthetic resin which is laminated on one face side of this base paper layer 2. The moisture proof layer 3 is laminated on the base paper layer 2 by an extrusion laminate method in the state of pseudo bonding, peeling strength of the base paper layer 2 and the moisture proof layer 3 is good with ≥0.02 N/5 cm and ≤5 N/5 cm. Tension strength of the moisture proof layer 3 is good with ≥0.45 kN/m and ≤1.5 kN/m. The synthetic resin is good when including polypropylene. The Vicat softening point of the synthetic resin is good with ≥139°C and ≤155°C. Average thickness of the moisture proof layer 3 is good with ≥10 μm and ≤50 μm.
