Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in moisture loss by forming a projected part on the outlet end part of a moving blade shroud, and providing a slit on the upstream side of the projected part. CONSTITUTION:On the outlet end part of a moving blade shroud 40', a projected part 42 projected on the effective passage side is formed. On the upstream side of the projected part 42, a slit 60 through which the inner circumferential surface of the shroud 40' is communicated with the outer circumferential surface thereof is formed. The water drops in the wet steam stick on the surfaces of blades, and flow to the outlet end of the shroud by a centrifugal force. And they are caught by the projected part 42, and is scattered through the slit 60. Thus, the reduction in moisture loss can be enabled.
