Title:
MOISTURE SEPARATING HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3727720
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a mistaken signal to stop a plant such as turbine trip and the like even when an internal pressure of a heater is changed in conjunction with a change in a turbine output by a method wherein an upper side level detecting seat is arranged on a vessel wall communicated with the downstream side space of a moisture separator.
SOLUTION: An upper side level detecting seat 50 is arranged on the wall 1b of a vessel between a partitioning plate 9 and a partitioning plate 10a. A space, surrounded by the partitioning plate 9, the partitioning plate 10a and the wall 1b of the vessel, is communicated with the downstream side of a moisture separator 2. Further, saturated steam exists in the downstream side of the moisture separator 2 and there is a possibility that the upper part of the partitioning plate 9 is wetted and water is stagnated whereby the position of the upper side level detecting seat 50 is set at a position higher than the upper end of the moisture separator 2, which is higher than the partitioning plate 9 and, accordingly, liquid film on the inner wall of the moisture separating heater 1 is shielded by the partitioning plate 9 and there is no drain, which flows into the tip end opening 27 of the level detector of the upper side level detecting seat 50. According to this method, the generation of a mistaken signal of 'level height', which causes turbine trip, can be prevented.
