Abstract:
PURPOSE: To certainly release a molded cap in the molding of a cap having a screw part provided to the inner peripheral surface thereof and having a knurling part provided to the outer peripheral surface thereof.
CONSTITUTION: In the mold opening of a fixed mold 11 and a movable mold 12, the rotary core 67 forming the inner surface of a cap 1 is rotated in the movable mold 12 in cooperation with two sets of racks 73, 83. The first racks 73 begin to move to the movable mold 12 after the stopper receivers 74 of them impinge against the protruding piece 71 of the fixed mold 11. In the movement of the second racks 83, a movable template 51 is opened to movable receiving plates 52, 53 in cooperation with screw member 91, 95 to push out the cap 1. Therefore, a rotary core 67 is not rotated until mold opening advances to a certain degree and the cap 1 is certainly released from the fixed mold 11. At a point of time when the rotation of the rotary core 67 is started, a part of the cap 1 is fitted in the fixed mold 11 and the cap 1 is prevented from rotating to be certainly released from the rotary core. By the opening of the movable template 51, the rotary core 67 is certainly extracted from the cap 1.
