Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die which enables smooth release of a cast lattice substrate from a fixed die, reduces deformation of the lattice substrate in releasing, and can cast the lattice substrate with good productivity, with respect to the die for casting the lattice substrate of a lead acid battery polar plate.SOLUTION: A die includes a movable die and the fixed die for structuring a cast cavity. A pressing pin of a lattice substrate to be cast is arranged in a predetermined position of the fixed die. The pressing pin includes an abutting face which is in direct contact with the lattice substrate, and a pillar which supports the abutting face, and is arranged so as to be located immediately beneath an intersection part of a horizontal bone and a vertical bone of the lattice substrate. The abutting face has an area which abuts on an intersection part region of the horizontal bone and vertical bone and a part of the horizontal bone and vertical bone extending from the intersection part region.
