PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold generation inhibitor capable of effectively preventing mold from being generated at the time of using circularly washing water for photography and without accompanying trouble in work.
SOLUTION: 2-lower alkoxycarbonylaminobenzimidazole (A) is blended with sulfamic acid (B) and polyoxyethylene alkyl aryl ether (C) having an HLB of 11-18 so that the weight ratio of the component (A) and the component (B) is made to 1:10 to 10:1 and the amt. of the component C is made to a range of 10-100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total, of the components (A), (B) and the resultant is used as the mold generation inhibitor.
