Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a cast having excellent collapsibility after casting while maintaining sufficient strength till casting time, and hardly generating pyrolysis gas from a binder during casting, without being restricted on a type of cast for producing a cast.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cast comprises a step of firing a primarily molded body being a hardened product of a mixture including a refractory granular material and an organic binder and also including a water-soluble inorganic salt at a melting point of the water-soluble inorganic salt or higher and also at a decomposition temperature of the organic binder or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None
