To propose a mold for molding an optical disk which accelerates the cooling of a sprue by improving the cooling efficiency of a sprue bush, and a method for molding the optical disk.
In the mold for molding the optical disk which has a cooling circuit for cooling a sprue part for leading a molding resin from a nozzle part for injecting the resin in the mold to a molding forming part, the spiral cooling circuit is formed around the sprue.
