To provide a mold for molding a shaped film which provides a polyester decorative sheet which extremely precisely reproduces the wood surface of a natural wood and a method for molding the shaped film.
A thermosetting sheet molding compd. 14 is placed on the surface of a natural wood manuscript and is press-molded to obtain the first mold 1 for molding with a surface uneven pattern being a reversal of the grain pattern of wood of the surface of the natural wood manuscript and a thermosetting sheet molding compd. 14 is placed on the surface of the first mold for molding and is press-molded to obtain the second mold for molding with the same uneven pattern being a reversal of the grain pattern of wood of the first mold 1 for molding and a thermoplastic sheet is press-molded by using the second mold for molding to mold a shaped film for molding a polyester decorative sheet.
